Specialty Services



Purtech Inc. offers a number of specialized services as finishing and secondary operations for your components. These services include superfinishing, lapping, and honing operations.

Superfinishing:
Equipped with superfinishing technology we are able to achieve the highest quality finishes possible. Our in- house superfinishing capabilities allow us to produce components with finishes of 1 RMS.

Honing:
Part honing is also available to ensure true roundness and size consistency on bores to 2.125”. This operation is often used to maximize concentricity to inline machined bores.

Lapping:
To support the metal-to-metal seated valve manufacturers, Purtech offers spherical lapping for balls having diameters ranging from 1” through 36”. We have the capability and routinely lap carbide and fusion bonded alloys.
